Dr. David Dahl, PT, DPT

Founder, Physical Therapist

I enjoy treating motivated fitness forward people. People whose jobs and passions require strength and function. Be that a CrossFitter wanting to stay in the gym without scaling, or a mom having trouble picking her child up out of the crib.I grew up in the weight room and on the jujitsu mat training for the next big thing, be that a PR or a national championship. With various injuries and recoveries to overcome, I’ve learned quite a bit about myself and others in similar positions.I demand a lot from the people under my care.

Getting out of pain is easy, staying out of pain while doing what you love…well that is a different equation all together. My goal is to position myself as a guide…a rehab sherpa if you will. I will lead and walk with you, but you will have to put in the work – there are no shortcuts. You will emerge a better manager of self earning a higher functional ceiling, resiliency, and oh yea, being pain free for the long haul.I treat the body and operate very holistically, understanding that everything, all systems, are connected. We talk about sleep, nutrition, stress, recovery, breath work and so much more because it all affects your goals. We also lift heavy shit.

Patient Testimonials

“I met David at a mobility workshop at Distilled Fitness and I immediately reached out to set up a session. David helped me get back into running and back into the gym in no time and I was pain FREE!”

– Craig Ward

Dr. David is a magician!! He will find the root cause of your pain. My shoulder was in a lot of pain with overhead pressing – in our very first session he was able to pinpoint my rotator cuff as part of the underlying issue.

– Michelle Miller

Dr. Dahl is not only a top caliber PT, but also very knowledgeable and patient. His approach is not to throw a bunch of interventions at the body to help you improve, but to test different methods and diagnose the best approach and solution, so that you are stronger and have a better quality of life and movement for whatever active lifestyle you are missing. Plus he works out himself, so he understands what athletes are experiencing and need most.
