Out of college, she worked as a research activity-based technician for the Spinal Cord Injury program at Frazier Rehab. She helped administer interventions with neuromuscular electrical stimulation in sitting and standing positions, and eventually led these sessions as a lead technician. She also worked with the PTs and OTs to use these research interventions in outpatient therapy sessions. She was a year in to her Master of Public Health program when the pandemic hit, and she started working as a disease investigator at Louisville Metro Public Health and Wellness. Three months later, she became the regional supervisor and managed 8 direct employees and 6 indirect employees, while also handling the large business clusters of cases in Louisville. It was an incredibly demanding year of her life, but also felt very fulfilling. She resigned to work on her part-time practicum/thesis project at LMPHW and graduated December 2021. She then worked at UofL Brown Cancer Center as a clinical trials coordinator until Benjamin was born. Elizabeth is a wife to Chris, and a mom to Benjamin. She loves reading, running, and started a garden this year.
